We’re always happy to share our knowledge and experience with other charities, community groups, and organisations through training sessions or workshops. Our work focuses on supporting people facing homelessness because of their immigration status — including people seeking asylum and newly granted refugees — and we’re keen to help others understand the challenges and ways to respond.
We don’t charge for these sessions because we want to make them accessible to all. However, they do take time and resources to prepare and deliver. If you're in a position to contribute, we welcome donations — many organisations choose to give between £50 and £200. Every contribution helps us continue this work and offer support to others across the sector.
Speakers from Boaz can give talks in different contexts for different purposes. These can include:
- A talk about the work of Boaz in general for groups who are interested in learning more or supporting us.
- An interactive session which goes into more detail about asylum, immigration and homelessness and how we work with people who've experienced significant trauma before, during and after the asylum process.
- Something else that's more tailored to you - let us know what you need in the form below.
