Please note - our emergency winter accommodation runs from October until April, and is now unavailable. We hope to  reopen in October 2019.

Night shelter for men

For the last 10 years, the Boaz Night Shelter has provided emergency overnight accommodation for up to 12 homeless asylum seeking or refugee men each night throughout the winter.

Our night shelters are hosted by different churches in Greater Manchester each night of the week, and include an early evening drop in service in central Manchester. A hot evening meal and breakfast is also provided.

Emergency hosting scheme for women

Our emergency hosting for women is offered through local volunteers who offer a spare bedroom, initially for up to 3 nights, depending on the circumstances.

Referrals for our emergency winter accommodation can only be made when it reopens for the winter in October 2019.

If are interested in volunteering in one of our night shelters and are not part of a church that currently acts as a shelter, then please email [email protected] and we will put you in touch with one of our shelters.
