IMPORTANT UPDATE: August 2020
We closed our night shelter at the end of March 2020 due to Covid-19. Sadly we are unable to to open our night shelters during the 2020-21 winter season. Referrals for our regular accommodation and emergency hosting for women can be made using our regular form here.
Night shelter for men
For over 10 years, the Boaz Night Shelter has provided emergency overnight accommodation for up to 12 homeless asylum seeking or refugee men each night throughout the winter.
Our night shelters are hosted by different churches in Greater Manchester each night of the week, and include an early evening drop in service in central Manchester. A hot evening meal and breakfast is also provided.
Women's emergency accommodation
Our women's emergency accommodation is usually offered through local volunteer hosts who offer a spare bedroom in their home.
Volunteer
If are interested in volunteering in one of our night shelters and are not part of a church that currently acts as a shelter, then please email [email protected] and we will put you in touch with one of our shelters.
