As a charity, the Boaz Trust is governed by a Board of eight Trustees, and we are pleased to announce that we are currently recruiting for two new Trustees to join the Board.

We are looking for people who will be able to bring lived and/or professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • The UK asylum system or other immigration processes
  • Digital technology
  • Income generation and fundraising
  • Communications and marketing

We are seeking to improve our understanding and practices in terms of diversity, equity and inclusion across the organisation. In recruiting new Trustees, we therefore particularly encourage applications from people who have lived experience of migration and/or the asylum process and people who are from Black, Asian and other minority ethnic backgrounds. We are also keen to hear from women and from younger people over 18 years old.

Finally, as a faith-based organisation, we do ask that all Trustees have strong empathy with and commitment to the Christian ethos, values and foundations of the Boaz Trust.

If a trustee role is something that you might be interested in exploring, please visit our Trustee Recruitment page here where you will find further information including a downloadable Trustee Recruitment Pack.
